Select 6 names from our team list below. The top 6 names will then be voted on to be the team captains. We will have 2 Team Captains and 2 Alternates (in case of sickness, injury or absence). The final discretion in naming captains will be with the coach.

On Monday, September 9, 2013 there will be a lunch meeting for the St. Rose Sr. Girls soccer team in room 114. Bring your lunches. Players will receive jerseys, a season schedule and a permission form.
Please note* - players will need to provide their own soccer shorts for the season (black).
The permission form will need to be taken home, signed and returned, along with the season fees, to Mr. Knechtel in room 114 as quickly as possible - Monday, September 16 at the absolute latest.
Our first game is away at STM on Tuesday, September 17 after school. We will be picked up from St. Rose at 2:30 pm for any away games we have.
A practice schedule will be discussed on Monday, as will items such as player positions, team formations and player apparel, among other things.

UPDATE* - We just received the season schedule today. The season start date for the Sr. Girls squad has been pushed back to Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
Welcome back to all returning students and to all new grade 7 students! There is not much time between the first day of school and the first game of the season, whew!
With that being said... tryouts will begin the very first week of the school year - the team needs to be picked by Friday, September 6 after the final tryout.
So the tryout schedule:
Grade 7 students - Wednesday, September 4 from 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm
Grade 8 and 9 students - Thursday, September 5 from 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm
First cuts will be made on Thursday
Grade 7, 8 and 9 students - Final tryout...
Friday, September 6 from 3:00 pm to 4:15pm
The final roster will be posted on this site - as well as at school Monday morning. It is critical that all team members get a permission form for away games from Mr. Knechtel on Monday, September 9. They will be available in room 114 - they will need to be returned the very next day (Tuesday, September 10), along with the team fee. Any players who do not return the form on Tuesday will not be able to play in the season opener.
